About Us

I am a fully qualified and experienced Forest School leader with many years experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
At a young age of 18, I trained as a Nursery nurse, then became a nanny for a professional couple in the small village of St Germans.

After raising 2 children of my own and following various career paths I returned to what I loved best, working with children. I re-trained as a teaching assistant and worked in secondary education with SEN. I also worked on the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme.
I left secondary education and then worked as a facilitator for the Gifted & Talented pupils in various inner city Primary Schools. It was during this job that I came across Forest Schools and became passionate about the outdoor way of teaching.

I have been working as a Forest School Leader now for 3 years and have delivered varied programmes for School in and around Plymouth.
I also do work for SSTN (stepping stones to nature) a PCC based project.
